and this blog has been going on for a month or so. it might be helpful to have a little bit of a synopsis to the show. after all, we are going, and trying to tap the international market, so let's have some international language around here.

katak oh katak or FROG WORLD is a 3d animated tv series. it features a group of frogs that live right at the edge of town. the story evolved around their daily activities which appeals to all walks of life and ages. the main characters are frogs as a metaphor to children aged 7 to 10 years old. the main target audience are children at the age of 5 to 10 years old and our general target audience are the general public.

FROG WORLD is an adventurous 3D animated series which will see the frogs going from one place to another, learning through experience and from the elders.

as we want the children to enjoy and learn (or enjoy learning) stories presented here in Frog World are all being crafted in such to retain the audience attention, till the end, till the kids got the message we try to convey. in our last season, Panjang, Pendek, Tompok and Bintik went through all sorts of adventurous and some mysterious scenarios. learning for children doesn’t necessarily come from hearing what these frogs are telling. having these characters in a mummy, pyramid kind of environment, taking them back into history, having them wear head gears from traditional cultured society, is already a good introduction to kids curiosity.

all in all, Frog World is a 3d animated series for children. It has to be fun and attractive foremost.

up to now, this fully malaysian production has produced 2 seasons totaling 26 episodes and was being aired on tv2.
